What LearnDirect says about Craigend Resource Centre

Craigend Resource Centre is a community learning centre in the east end of Greenock. The staff work with a number of agencies - including the Federation of Community Learning Centres Inverclyde and colleges - to encourage and help people to get into learning.

The centre has a focus on breaking down barriers to learning by offering additional help and support, for example by providing outreach workers and childcare facilities.

Learners of all ages, 16 to over 80, attend the centre. In the last six years since it became a learndirect scotland branded centre, it has helped more than 3500 learners and worked with other organisations to help people get further education or work. Tuition is provided at a level that suits the individual learner's needs
